Mama’s Notes:

Tips

For a firmer ice cube, substitute water for the limeaid

Double the batch and make smoothies out of half of the blended mixture – just add a sparkling soda of your choosing and you will be glad you did.

The color of the blackberry is dark and will change the color of the drink you put it in.

To make lavender blackberry ice cubes your own:

  • add other fresh herbs – especially mint!
  • add some lemon zest
  • make them into popsicles
  • add other fresh berries like raspberries or blueberries

Our test kitchen crew drank the first batch using tangerine izzies and ginger beer – super yummy.  Have fun with it – make it your own. I would love to hear what you did to make this recipe your own. Let me know!
